How Task Assignments Work
Task assignments
Tasks can be assigned to you (the owner), the Parcel team, or external service providers.
Owner tasks
Some tasks require your involvement:
- Approving a repair quote
- Providing access for a service visit
- Reviewing and signing documents
- Purchasing supplies or equipment
These appear in your Tasks section with your name assigned.
Parcel team tasks
Many tasks are handled entirely by our team:
- Scheduling cleanings
- Coordinating repairs with vendors
- Updating listings
- Processing guest requests
You can see these in your timeline but they do not require action from you.
Notifications
When a task is assigned to you, you receive a notification. High-priority tasks may also trigger an email notification.
Completing tasks
When you have addressed a task: 1. Open the task 2. Add a comment describing what you did 3. The Parcel team will verify and mark it complete
You cannot mark tasks as complete yourself; this ensures proper quality checks.
